Old Chicago in Ankeny

Great staff, clean environment, food was great but a little pricey. I would definitely, say if you are working with a budget, this would be a treat day. It wasn't over the top but it was enough; to be like its a little splurge of self love meal.

Old Chicago is our go to place for college game day. Great food and a large selection of beer. We always have great service.

It took an hour and twenty minutes to get two salads and two kids macaroni and cheeses. We complained twice and only got excuses as to how busy and understaffed they were. Our toddlers were doing well considering and no one checked on us for drink refills or even offered to get us something to tide them over. The manager took $25 off our order, which was appreciated especially since the mac and cheese was cold when it arrived and the noodles weren't cooked all the way. This was my second experience at this restaurant and though the service was better last time, the food isn't worth it. We won't be coming back.
